NEW ACCOMMODATIONS
Accommodation
On our horsefarm Bjarnastaðir in Ölfus South Iceland, we rent out the first floor of our house to guests. In addition to this we offer an Apartment in the horse stable and a new house on the horse farm for rent. We do our best to give our guests the experience of living in an icelandic home with icelandic farm animals around the house, in the country side.
Please note: Since we are a very small, family run business it is important to book the room early enough in advance so we can make sure the date and time you want is available.

Our Accommodations
In the kitchens of all our accommodations you find a fridge, oven or microwave, toaster, waterboiler, coffeemaker, dishwasher, pots, pans, some spices, oil, nescafe, tea, dishwashing liquid, a sponge, tablecloths and enough space to store your groceries. There are bedsheets and towels in all of our rooms.
The new House
The new House on the Horse Farm has space for up to 6 guests. It has 4 single beds that can be pushed together or apart as well as a sleep couch. The House has a private kitchen and bathroom. From the house and the terrace with a hot tub you can enjoy the view on the mountain behind our farm. Right now we are working on the finishing touches of the house but feel free to contact us so we can let you know if it will be available during the time you are planning to visit Iceland.
The Stable Apartment
In the Stable Apartment we can welcome up to 5 guests. There are two single beds to push together or apart and 2-3 mattresses in the upstairs part. The Stable Apartment has a private kitchen and bathroom. It is located in the same building as our horse stable.
The Guesthouse
Our guesthouse has two rooms with space for up to 5 people in total. Every room comes with a garden view and 2 single beds, which can easily be pushed together or apart. It is possible to add an extra mattress in one of the rooms. The Guesthouse has a shared kitchen and bathroom but if you rent the whole floor (both rooms) you will have it all to yourself.
